Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a Mercedes, TX community. You will supervise maintenance workers, coordinate repairs, and ensure amenities are safe, clean, and appealing.

You will move heavy objects, operate maintenance equipment, and report to management on daily activities. The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and full auto insurance, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance duties including repairs across multiple trades (appliances, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and appealing property.
• Coordinate with management and staff on maintenance projects and daily vendor scheduling.
• Move and assist with heavy objects and operate maintenance equipment or trucks as needed.
• Monitor inventory and supplies; communicate maintenance concerns to management.
