Job summary

Travis County’s Facilities Management Department is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a complex of county facilities. You will direct maintenance and repair operations, supervise staff, and ensure reliable systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with five years of increasingly responsible building maintenance experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory position; EPA Universal

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Texas Driver's License required.
• Background checks and fingerprinting required.
• Five years of progressively responsible building maintenance experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises building maintenance staff and schedules work for a complex of buildings.
• Performs advanced maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Provides technical guidance and training to staff.
• Coordinates with tenants and outside contractors.
• Maintains records, tracks work orders, and monitors inventory.
• Ensures safety compliance and proper usage of tools.
