Job summary

Stonemark is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee maintenance and grounds within the community. You will manage daily schedules, inspect facilities, and coordinate with the Community Manager on ongoing projects and emergencies.

The role requires EPA Universal and HVAC certifications, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will supervise staff and contractors to maintain safe, appealing living spaces.

Qualifications

• Fifth year college program certificate or equivalent experience.
• 4 years in a service position at an apartment community or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Level certification is required.
• HVAC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents promptly and professionally.
• Establishes daily work schedules for maintenance staff.
• Follows up on work assignments for efficient completion.
• Establishes emergency maintenance on-call schedule and contacts.
• Inspects the community regularly and reports findings.
• Notifies management of maintenance problems and suggested solutions.
• Assists in preparing maintenance-related records.
• Reports status of scheduled work to the Community Manager daily.
• Assists with move-in and move-out procedures.
• Maintains preventive maintenance information and inventory of parts.
• Keeps workshops clean, orderly and safe.
• Uses preventive maintenance programs to minimize costs and downtime.
• Obtains competitive pricing, manages purchase orders, and oversees contracted labor.
• Responsible for interior painting of buildings and amenities.
