Job summary

Central Office - BOE is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Henderson, NC to coordinate daily district facilities maintenance under the Director of Maintenance. You will supervise maintenance crew leads and skilled trades across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to ensure safe, well‑maintained facilities.

Starting immediately, you will manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance while preparing reports on staffing, materials, and needs for the Director.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with basic vocational training.
• Experience coordinating maintenance work and directing staff.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prioritizes, and assigns daily work through crew leads; coordinates staffing, materials, and schedules to complete repairs and projects efficiently.
• Manages work orders from assignment through completion, monitors response times and backlogs, verifies work quality, and informs the Director of progress and delays.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance and inspections of building systems and equipment; identifies recurring problems and recommends corrective action.
• Maintains inventories of tools, equipment, materials, and repair parts; coordinates supply needs and maintains records.
