Job summary

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) in Anchorage is seeking a Supervisor of Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance of buildings, mechanical systems, and grounds. The role includes supervising in-house staff and coordinating with outside contractors to ensure reliable facilities operations.

You will train maintenance personnel to perform progressively complex repairs and installations, ensuring safety and efficiency while supporting SCF’s mission and service delivery to Alaska Native communities.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of maintenance supervisory or team leader experience.
• Three (3) years of work experience.
• Trade school education with a focus in carpentry; OR equivalent training and experience.
• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must meet conditions to qualify as an approved SCF driver: valid Alaska driver’s license meeting DMV requirements; CDL rules within 30 days if applicable.
• Driver must meet driving record criteria (no DUI/DWI/OUI; limited violations).
• Prior to hire, provide current driving record (no more than 60 days old) from issuing State.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance of buildings, mechanical systems and grounds, including work by staff and outside contractors.
• Train maintenance employees to perform progressively complex interior repairs and installations.
