Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker at our Camden, NJ facility. The role involves janitorial services, basic maintenance support, and assisting with material movements and kit distribution to support in-house construction projects.

The ideal candidate will lift 35 lbs+, operate an Electric Pallet Jack, and maintain safety standards. A high school diploma and US citizenship are required, with potential for a security clearance based on government requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience related to the role and responsibilities of the position.
• Must be able to stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack.
• Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to attain and maintain a Government issued security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Preferred: Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Providing janitorial services.
• Maintenance support, including carrying job materials to and from work area; minor hand tool use; screwdriver to unhook computer monitors and cabling for staff seat changes.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. or more with or without assistance.
• Support material delivery to in-house construction areas and issue material assembly kits as needed.
• Perform inventory of material and update required records.
