Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker at our Camden, NJ facility. The role involves janitorial services, basic maintenance support, and assisting with material movements and kit distribution to support in-house construction projects.

The ideal candidate will lift 35 lbs+, operate an Electric Pallet Jack, and maintain safety standards. A high school diploma and US citizenship are required, with potential for a security clearance based on government requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience related to the role and responsibilities of the position.
• Must be able to stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack.
• Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to attain and maintain a Government issued security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Preferred: Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Reporting directly to a Facility Manager, the Utility worker is responsible forproviding janitorial services, maintenance support, miscellaneous relocations and any duties assigned. Cleaning manufacturing floor of excess equipment, internal relocation of furniture, and Supporting Maintenance (i.e., delivering material and tools to in house construction areas, etc.) as required at the facility. The Utility worker may also issue individual part requests, update, track status and issue material assembly kits required for projects. Perform inventory of material. S/he must ensure they are efficient and timely in performing all duties.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary for this role is $22.56/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
