Job summary

• Must understand and be able to work on all Production and Facility equipment.
• Must have a valid state issued Driver's License.
• Qualification for respirator and breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams is also required.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Perform facilities maintenance duties such as Carpentry, Flooring, Sheet Rock etc.
• 20% - Install new equipment.
• 5% - Repair HVAC, electrical maintenance, production machinery upkeep and basic welding.
• 10% - Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical work.
• 5% - General shop upkeep, cleaning and organization.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic C will work under limited supervision performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance. Must understand and be able to work on all Production and Facility equipment.

Essential Functions

• 60%- Perform facilities maintenance duties, Carpentry, Flooring, Sheet Rock etc.
• 20%- Install new equipment.
• 5%- Repair HVAC equipment, general Electrical Maintenance, Production machinery upkeep/repair/ maintenance, general welding, millwright activities or carpentry.
• 10%- Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical and mechanical work.
• 5%- General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing.
• Must have a valid state issued Driver's License.
• Qualification for respirator and breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams is also required.
• Continued education in a maintenance discipline and cross training into other disciplines within the department will be required as needed.
• Must be very safety and environmentally conscious.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
