Job summary

Cedarcrest Inc. in Keene, NH is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities team.

You’ll work with the Facilities Manager to keep buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment safe and reliable, troubleshooting repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing the campus for winter. The ideal candidate has several years in facilities maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record clear.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of the building and grounds and address maintenance concerns.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and grounds equipment, including snow removal.
• Assist with deliveries and support other projects as assigned.
• Participate in safety and emergency procedures as needed.
