Job summary

Accelera in Utah is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to maximize uptime and reliability in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will execute proactive maintenance strategies and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems to keep production flowing.

Responsibilities include PM/PdM on critical processing machinery, maintaining HVAC and building systems, managing spare parts in CMMS, and enforcing safety and GMP/LOTO protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Strong analytical skills for corrective action planning.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance on critical processing machinery to minimize production downtime.
• Perform advanced technical troubleshooting on electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure continuous operational flow.
• Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC, lighting, and building systems, to support a safe and efficient work environment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and update CMMS records to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities and resource allocation.
• Implement Lean and 5S methodologies to improve departmental organization and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure GMP, LOTO, and environmental disposal protocols are followed.
• Provide emergency response support to address urgent technical issues and maintain facility security.
