Job summary

Highway Horticulture is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. The role supports vendor management and coordination with contractors for electrical, HVAC, and related installations, with a focus on safety and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receive packages and coordinate placement of shipments in the facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general troubleshooting on equipment and building.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and service records.
• Support maintenance for air compressor, bottling line, RO skids, basic electrical.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty resolutions with vendors and contractors.
• Assist subcontractors with electrical, HVAC and other installations.
• Coordinate snow removal, lawn care, and facility maintenance contracts.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Purchase supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Perform ad hoc jobs and projects as needed.
