The Maintenance Assistant will inspect equipment, assist with repairs, and support an interdisciplinary team while prioritizing patient comfort and safety in a post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper function and safety.
• Run errands and handle incoming/outgoing freight as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients when required.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional conduct.
