Midas Auto Experts in New Jersey is seeking a Facilities Maintenance & Renovation Technician to maintain, repair, and improve our shop locations. This hands-on role requires practical problem solving and a pride in fixing, building, and upgrading facilities.

You will perform routine maintenance across multiple shops, handle building repairs, assist with renovations, and coordinate with management on priorities while ensuring safe, clean, and professional spaces.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong handyman/maintenance background.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
• Comfortable using tools and power equipment; able to troubleshoot issues.
• Self-motivated and dependable; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to manage tasks across multiple shop locations; travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license; travel between locations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple automotive shop locations.
• Maintain and repair vehicle lifts; training provided if needed.
• Handle general building maintenance (walls, doors, flooring, fixtures, lighting, plumbing).
• Paint and renovate shop interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Repair deficiencies identified during inspections or daily operations.
• Assist with minor remodels and renovations; coordinate with management on priorities.

We are a growing automotive repair company looking for a skilled, dependable, and adaptable Facilities Maintenance & Renovation Technician to help maintain, repair, and improve our shop locations.

This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in fixing, building, and improving things. If you’re the type who can look at a problem and figure it out — we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple automotive repair shops


• Maintain and repair vehicle lifts (training provided if needed)


• Handle general building maintenance (walls, doors, flooring, fixtures, lighting, plumbing, etc.)


• Paint and renovate shop interiors and exteriors as needed


• Repair deficiencies identified during inspections or day-to-day operations


• Assist with minor remodels and renovations
  
• Coordinate with management on priorities and timelines


• Ensure shops remain safe, clean, functional, and professional
