Dick Huvaere’s Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Diesel Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of vehicles in a modern, well-equipped shop in Richmond, MI. This full-time role offers steady hours, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture.

Competitive pay based on experience and certifications, paid in-house training, factory training, mentorship, and access to updated tools and a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• State certifications required to perform vehicle repairs.
• ASE certifications are not required, but are considered a strong plus.
• Proven automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently and according to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
