Job summary

Host Terminals, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Avondale, LA to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and overall condition of company facilities and building systems. Reporting to the Director of Site Development, you will drive preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors, and manage work orders to ensure operations remain safe and efficient.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in facilities maintenance with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of building

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities, building, or industrial maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, service agreements, and repair projects.
• Ability to manage multiple facilities, projects, and competing priorities.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and general condition of facilities and building systems.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for major systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and address safety and operational concerns.
• Manage facility work orders through from request to completion.
• Prioritize requests based on safety and operational impact.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, inspections, and services.
• Provide updates on maintenance items, risks, and upcoming needs to leadership.
• Support facility renovations, expansions, and capital project planning.
