Job summary

Good Day Farm seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and ensure reliable building systems and infrastructure. You will manage contractors, budgets, and preventive programs to maximize uptime while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement, analyze maintenance data, and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Security to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of supervisory facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pumps, and automated machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Leads, develops, and mentors the facilities maintenance team with safety and continuous improvement.
• Establishes maintenance priorities aligned with production objectives.
• Partners with Operations, Cultivation, Processing, Compliance, Security, and other departments.
• Directs maintenance and reliability of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, controls, irrigation, and buildings.
• Develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Drives root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce failures.
• Oversees CMMS performance including work orders and asset records.
• Monitors KPIs like PM compliance, MTTR, downtime, backlog, and costs.
• Manages budgets, capital planning, and equipment replacement strategies.
• Manages contractors and facility projects, ensuring quality and safety.
