Job summary

Accelera in Georgia is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational integrity and upkeep of our properties. You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, perform preventative maintenance, and keep facilities safe and fully functional for occupants.

The role requires interpreting blueprints, managing CMMS work orders, and promoting safety through OSHA standards and proper PPE while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on building maintenance experience.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing and HVAC repair techniques.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate CMMS.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute facility repairs including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergencies and diagnose critical infrastructure issues.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for installations and repairs.
• Manage work orders and inventory in CMMS.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold safety standards.
