Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our Portage, Indiana team and oversee facility operations. This full-time role requires hands-on maintenance of property systems, with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will repair HVAC, lighting, plumbing, drywall, and painting, perform fabrication tasks, and use hand tools and light equipment. Occasional site-to-site travel may be required to address maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with basic building maintenance and safety practices.
• Familiar with drywall and painting tasks.
• Ability to operate hand tools and light equipment.
• Willingness to travel between local sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all property systems remain in optimal working order.
• Repair HVAC systems, lighting installations, and minor plumbing components.
• Commute between various local sites to address maintenance requirements.
• Perform drywall installation and painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics.
• Utilize hand tools and light equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Execute fabrication projects as required by site needs.
• Apply electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve power-related issues.
