Job summary

Walmart in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a facilities management leader to direct HVAC, electrical, and critical power maintenance across multiple operations. You will evaluate projects, ensure system performance and safety, and guide preventive maintenance programs.

The role includes budgeting, contract oversight, and driving sustainability and efficiency initiatives while managing a team and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area; or 5 years of experience in the same areas.

Responsibilities

• Directs heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration plumbing electrical and critical power maintenance and service operations by evaluating projects and facility needs.
• Oversees budget plans, approves expenditures, and manages contracts and invoices.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local HVAC/R laws, regulations and guidelines by reviewing new and existing laws and conducting inspections.
• Drives execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans and priorities, and providing resources.
• Promotes a belonging mindset and develops associates through training, mentoring and performance evaluations.
