Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of journey-level experience in a skilled mechanical trade.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and technical information.
• Experience working in occupied environments (offices, classrooms, restrooms).
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment per manuals, specs, or supervisor instructions.
• Observe and adjust a wide variety of mechanical devices to assure proper operation.
• Dismantle machines for servicing or replacement of parts.
• Lubricate and clean pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Replace or repair dispensers, fixtures, or fittings as needed.
• Troubleshoot building HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Assist tradesmen when directed and support where assigned.
• Perform performing preventive maintenance inspections.
