Job summary

Tiffany & Co. in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician to support daily meetings and events by setting up audiovisuals and furniture, maintaining buildings and grounds, and assisting with repairs of HVAC and other facility systems.

You will learn the Building Management System (BMS), use power tools and testing equipment, and maintain a safe work environment in line with NFPA/OSHA standards. Daily work tickets and inventory management are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC and facility equipment maintenance.
• Ability to learn the Building Management System (BMS).
• Commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up/tear down audiovisual and furniture for meetings and events.
• Respond to Facilities Service requests via the Dispatch Desk.
• Maintain copy paper inventory and supply paper/toner as needed.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of equipment and safety systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, warewash and related equipment.
• Provide daily tickets status reports to the Facilities Dispatcher.
• Respond to hot/cold requests and implement corrective actions using the BMS.
