Job summary

Tiffany & Co. in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Facilities Technician to respond to service requests, set up and break down audiovisual and furniture for meetings, and maintain building and grounds to support daily operations.

You will assist with repairs and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and safety systems, manage parts inventory, and use the Building Management System to address requests while upholding strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Facilities Service requests and complete tasks via the Facilities Dispatch Desk, including setting up conference/meeting rooms with audiovisual equipment and furniture.
• Policing of outside grounds and general upkeep; cleaning and maintenance of building, grounds and equipment.
• Assist with repairs and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and general facility equipment.
• Provide daily report of work tickets, material usage, and inventory; maintain parts inventory and order materials as needed.
• Use Building Management System to respond to hot/cold requests and test life safety systems to meet standards.
