Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled maintenance team and drive preventative programs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will manage budgets, vendor contracts, and CMMS-driven decisions to protect people, assets, and uptime.

You will collaborate with production, IT, HR, and other functions to align facility priorities with business goals and drive energy conservation and sustainable upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in facilities; 3–5 years leading teams in corporate or manufacturing settings.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire systems.
• Proven success with preventive maintenance and CMMS.
• Skilled in budgeting, contracting, and capital project oversight.
• Certifications such as CFM/FMP are a plus; proficiency with Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing maintenance team.
• Build preventive programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Plan and deliver repairs, renovations, and capital projects.
• Manage budgets and negotiate smart vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.
• Run a CMMS to prioritize work and track performance.
• Inspect facilities and drive timely corrective actions.
• Strengthen emergency readiness for outages and incidents.
