Balfour Beatty Communities in Key West, FL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians, roads and grounds staff, and work-order personnel across a residential community.

You will ensure work meets quality standards, oversee safety, manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and facilities, and coordinate with environmental and safety teams to maintain compliance and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong safety and OSHA knowledge; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight across daily operations, financial reporting, inventory, procurement, customer service, and staff development.
• Direct grounds/landscaping teams; ensure properties meet curb appeal standards.
• Oversee maintenance technicians across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other trades.
• Train and supervise staff on safety practices and PPE usage.
• Manage work orders, response times, quality, and customer service metrics.
• Coordinate environmental, safety, and vendor activities; ensure regulatory documentation.
• Maintain OSHA logs and safety records; enforce comprehensive facilities processes.
• Lead preventive maintenance for HVAC, building and grounds, pools, and playgrounds.
• Enforce ZERO Harm safety culture across operations.
