Job summary

The Facilities Maintenance Manager at Mid-America Adventure oversees carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and general upkeep, directing a skilled team to complete daily tasks, safety inspections, and planned maintenance.

You will coordinate with operations, vendors, and engineers on capital projects, manage budgets, enforce CBAs, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining park readiness and guest safety across all seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance leadership.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience leading technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Experience with CBAs in a unionized environment.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team.
• Develop performance expectations and ensure safety and quality.
• Recruit, train, and develop maintenance staff.
• Manage budgets and capital projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Support ride inspections and safety compliance.
• Plan maintenance priorities with Operations.
• Ensure compliance with CBAs and labor policies.
