Job summary

Michigan's Adventure is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead all Ride, Waterpark, Facility, Construction and Grounds maintenance, with accountability for guest and associate safety, asset reliability, and financial performance.

This is a leadership role in a unionized environment; the Director will be a key management voice in labor relations, administering the collective bargaining agreement and partnering with HR and union representation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a represented workforce and contract administration.
• Strong written communication and documentation discipline.
• Proven ability to deliver capital and seasonal projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Directs all maintenance work across the park – division employees, other divisions, and contractors.
• Owns safety standards, inspection readiness, and reliability of rides and attractions.
• Manages labor relations, contract administration, and grievance procedures within the collective bargaining framework.
• Oversees division budget, staffing levels, and capital project portfolio.
