Job summary

Cox is seeking a Maintenance and Custodial Manager to oversee the upkeep of auction facilities, offices, grounds and equipment. You will supervise maintenance and custodial staff and partner with leadership to plan budgets and staffing to ensure reliable operations.

You will inspect facilities, coordinate procurement, manage utility systems, and drive safety and performance improvements across the site. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in management or lead role.
• Requires strong knowledge of facility and building maintenance codes and permitting requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and custodial personnel and identify current and future maintenance requirements.
• Inspect facilities, buildings and equipment to determine service needs and staffing.
• Coordinate procurement of building and maintenance supplies, machinery and equipment.
• Direct installation and maintenance of utility systems (heat, power, gas, air).
• Compile labor and material cost records and prepare reports for management.
