Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee preventive maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians to ensure buildings operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably for associates and customers.

The role requires 50%+ travel, collaboration with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber with at least 5 years in facilities management or 3 years with a related degree.
• Active Master Plumber license in the state of employment.
• EPA Universal Certification and other listed certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region of 50% or more.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain reporting and analytics.
• Obtain and secure permits, schedules, and inspections as required by codes.

Position Summary

At Walmart,we'reseekinga dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role,you'lllead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildingsoperateefficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

Role Detail

• Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Works directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs
• Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
• Reporting and analytics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements, enabling successful scope of work performance, including but not limited to, conducting site inspections tomonitorcompliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits andschedulesinspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes, when applicable.

• Maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in state of employment

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years' experience in the above areas with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Preferred Qualifications

• Building controls or related area, Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience
