Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a dynamic Licensed Master Plumber to lead facilities maintenance operations in a regional area.

You will oversee predictive and preventative maintenance, lead a team of technicians, and ensure our buildings operate safely and efficiently for associates and customers. This role requires a Master Plumber license and 5 years of facilities management or related experience, with travel of ~50% within the region.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Work with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Reporting and analytics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and registrations
• Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements
• Obtain and secure permits and inspections as required by codes

In this role,you'lllead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildingsoperateefficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

• Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Works directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs
• Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
• Reporting and analytics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements, enabling successful scope of work performance, including but not limited to, conducting site inspections tomonitorcompliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits andschedulesinspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes, when applicable.

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would beoptimal
• Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
• Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others

• EPA Universal Certification
