Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate safely and efficiently while supporting associates and customers.

Minimum qualifications include a Licensed Master Plumber with 5 years of facilities/construction/electrical maintenance experience, or 3 years with a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber with 5 years’ experience in facilities or related fields, or 3 years with a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state of employment.
• EPA Universal Certification, PMP Certification, and Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
• Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in state of employment.
• Experience in building maintenance, electrical maintenance, or construction management is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable operations.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and permits and schedule inspections.
• Travel approximately 50% within the region.

In this role,you'lllead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildingsoperateefficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

• Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Works directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs
• Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
• Reporting and analytics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements, enabling successful scope of work performance, including but not limited to, conducting site inspections tomonitorcompliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits andschedulesinspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes, when applicable.

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would beoptimal
• Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience

Minimum Qualifications...

Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Building controls or related area, Experience leading cross-functional teams., External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment., Supervisory experience
