Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) seeks a Senior Manager, Facility Maintenance to lead Spectrum Center's Maintenance & Facilities Department and serve as a primary liaison with the Charlotte Hornets. The role ensures the arena is fully operational for every event and oversees a multi-million dollar facilities budget.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and contractual oversight, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of arena operations, facilities maintenance, and engineering.
• Knowledge of budgeting, personnel, purchasing and related operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) and related technology.
• Ability to lead, train and supervise a team.

Responsabilités

• Overall responsibility for Spectrum Center operations and staffing.
• Coordinate with HSE on large events and NBA/NCAA activities.
• Ensure facility meets NBA specifications and standards.
• Develop and maintain department policies and standards aligned with CRVA.
• Develop CAPEX requests and coordinate city capital projects.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and life-cycle analyses.
• Oversee budget-related invoices and approvals for facility work.
• Communicate with promoters to deliver quality customer service.
• Act as Manager on Duty during events.
