Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the general operating maintenance and repair of the community buildings and grounds. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

You will manage HVAC and building systems, respond to resident needs, and oversee safety practices while upholding Brookdale’s service standards and community experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2-3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License required for vehicle travel.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the community maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff as applicable.
• Direct maintenance work on interior and exterior of the community; inspect for standards.
• Oversee scheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in their rooms, including plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of buildings including vacated rooms; painting walls and cleaning carpets.
• Ensure common areas are well maintained (walls, floors, doors, woodwork).
• Maintain positive communication with local fire authorities and inspectors.
