Job summary

Verano in Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Manager responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and executing maintenance to maintain proper environments of the cultivation and processing facility.

You will lead SOP development, supervise electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, troubleshoot issues, perform PMs, and manage CMMS administration.

This role requires 5 years of maintenance experience, 2 years in leadership, and a 21+ age plus cannabis-compliance registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years facility and equipment maintenance experience required.
• 2 years maintenance leadership experience required.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21+ and able to register with the state's cannabis commission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, organizing, and executing maintenance for the facility.
• Develop and implement SOPs; train personnel in assigned work per SOP.
• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform PM tasks.
• Manage CMMS administration and act as point of contact for location.
• Interview, hire, and train personnel; coordinate schedules and tasks.
• Manage outside contractors and negotiate service agreements.
