Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Manager, Maintenance in Canton, OH to lead maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a warehouse environment. You will oversee SOP development, PM programs, and CMMS administration while coordinating contractors and training staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of facility and equipment maintenance experience.
• 2 years of maintenance leadership experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the cannabis commission.
• Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing SOPs and training personnel.
• Ensure proper performance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain cultivation and processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues (electrical, structural, plumbing, equipment).
• Lead hands-on maintenance and support PM programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment.
• Provide coverage for boiler, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checklists.
• Maintain records of maintenance procedures.
• Develop and implement CMMS for the department; act as CMMS admin contact.
• Ensure custodial functions and site cleanliness.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and negotiate service agreements.
• Interview, hire, and train maintenance personnel.
