Job summary

ERMC Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee on-site maintenance operations at the Miami airport. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with safety leadership, and manage contractors and daily activities.

The role requires at least 3 years in facilities maintenance, airport operations experience, knowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols, and the ability to obtain security clearances and a valid airport badge.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance.
• Experience in airport operations or infrastructure.
• Experience with FAA regulations, safety protocols, and airport systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and Social Security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as in small spaces.
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors, and be on call for emergencies.
• Handle multiple internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities, manage deadlines, and develop & track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand, implement, and audit safety programs. Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and good working relationships with operations leadership.
• Facilitate technical and safety training, as well as help to develop the professional development of maintenance associates.
• Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart.
