Job summary

ERMC Aviation seeks a Control Room Operator to manage the conveyor line, dispatch repair teams, and maintain maintenance records. You will document outages, update databases, and assist in inventory tasks while ensuring accurate reporting and safety compliance.

The role requires airport familiarity, strong communication with customers and authorities, and the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to obtain security clearances are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers, TSA, and airline representatives.
• Knowledge of Industrial safety practices.
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM.
• Clear speaking ability over two-way radio.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Experience with warehousing and inventory.
• Able to pass a basic mechanical/electrical aptitude test.
• Proficient in Word and Excel with email and training access.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a government ID and social security card.
• Able to obtain an airport security badge.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Able to work in extreme conditions and small spaces.
• Able to obtain necessary security clearances.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Possibly manage parts inventory and data entry in CMMS.

Job description

ERMC is seeking a Control Room Operator. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Dispatches personnel or technicians to problems on the conveyor line and creates work orders for the repairs to be made.
• Create, modify, and update databases/spreadsheets associated with the administration of the Maintenance Site, and maintain filing and reports relating to the conveyor line operation.
• Documents the daily functions, outages, and statistics of the conveyor system.
• Maintains accurate flight table with the assistance of the customer. Make any corrections on a temporary and/or permanent basis.
• May maintain parts inventory and be responsible for data entry in CMMS.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.

• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
