Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in an airport environment is required (or preferred).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, TSA, and airline reps.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Proficiency typing at least 30 words per minute.
• Ability to speak clearly over a two-way radio system.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with warehousing and inventory is a plus.
• Ability to pass a basic mechanical/electrical aptitude test.
• Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel for logging, retrieving, and emailing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a government ID and social security card; able to obtain airport security badge.
• Must have reliable transportation.

ERMC is seeking a Control Room Operator. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Dispatches personnel or technicians to problems on the conveyor line and creates work orders for the repairs to be made.
• Create, modify, and update databases/spreadsheets associated with the administration of the Maintenance Site, and maintain filing and reports relating to the conveyor line operation.
• Documents the daily functions, outages, and statistics of the conveyor system.
• Maintains accurate flight table with the assistance of the customer. Make any corrections on a temporary and/or permanent basis.
• May maintain parts inventory and be responsible for data entry in CMMS.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an airport environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the customer, TSA, and Airline representatives.
• Knowledge of Industrial safety.
• Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.

• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces

• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
