Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Kansas City, Missouri to lead the maintenance team, hire, supervise, and develop staff while driving safety and uptime.

You will manage equipment, plant facilities, budgets, and preventive maintenance programs, coordinate capital equipment purchases, and oversee vendor projects to ensure operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities maintenance team, including hiring, supervising, and developing staff.
• Ensure all equipment, building, and grounds are maintained to company standards and are operational.
• Oversee plastic injection molding experience within facilities management.
• Prioritize safety and support Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) execution.
• Coordinate service calls and machine repairs; assist mechanics with troubleshooting.
• Oversee facility budgeting and drive loss reduction via breakdown analysis.
• Maintain a compliant stockroom for facility consumables.
• Implement and sustain a preventive/predictive maintenance program.
• Oversee onsite vendor projects and capital equipment purchases/installations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage all maintenance operations and oversee new capital equipment purchases and installation processes in the plant.

Responsibilities

• The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities
• The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards
• Facilities must have plastic injection molding experience
• As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution
• You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis
• Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Facilities Manager ensures a effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.
• Facilities Manager oversees all onsite vendor projects.
• Other duties as assigned
