Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the facility maintenance team, hire and develop staff, and ensure all equipment, building, and grounds meet company standards. A strong emphasis on safety, including LOTO, will guide daily operations and maintenance decisions.

You will coordinate service calls, machine repairs, and troubleshooting with mechanics, while managing the facility budget and driving loss reductions through breakdown analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a facilities maintenance team.
• Proven budgeting and vendor management capabilities.
• Strong preventive/predictive maintenance background.
• Plastic injection molding experience preferred.

Job description

• The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities
• The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards
• Facilities must have plastic injection molding experience
• As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution
• You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis
• Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Facilities Manager ensures a effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.
• Facilities Manager oversees all onsite vendor projects.
• Other duties as assigned
