Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California near LAX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance programs for our manufacturing facilities. The role reports to the Director of Facilities and requires strong leadership, written and verbal skills, and the ability to coordinate across internal groups and with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of equipment service and repair for CNC machines and robotics.
• Experience with HVAC, fire, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Lean/6S/TPM knowledge; Lean certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance management in manufacturing or similar.
• Knowledge of safety processes, machining, welding, assembly, document control, and quality inspections.
• Familiarity with engineering, construction, project management and business systems (ACAD, MS Project, SAP).
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and climb stairs/ ladders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute maintenance plans for facility equipment.
• Drive maintenance team to achieve high uptime and Utilization of production equipment.
• Administer maintenance planning program in line with corporate policies.
• Assist in planning strategic development plans for the facility.
• Interface with internal groups and customers as a facilities leader.
• Perform or manage self-inspections of facility systems and programs.
• Prepare budgets, RFQs, policies, and procedures for Maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records using the work order system (WO).
• Prepare assessments to inform executive management and correct deficiencies.
