Job summary

Amphenol CDI in Cerritos, CA seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to lead maintenance teams, optimize uptime, and drive reliability across production equipment and facility systems. You will manage preventative programs, coordinate contractor activities, and support EHS compliance within a safety‑conscious manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, hands‑on troubleshooting, and experience with CMMS, CNC/milling equipment, and facility utilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel, contractors, and facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability practices.
• Experience with CNC machining equipment, Swiss-style machining equipment, or similar manufacturing technologies preferred.
• Experience maintaining industrial utility systems including compressed air, HVAC, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and CAL/OSHA requirements.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and corrective action programs.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Aerospace, defense, precision machining, or electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance personnel and facility support operations.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain high equipment uptime and responsiveness to production needs.
• Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Manage outside service providers, maintenance contractors, and CMMS records.
• Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Lockout/Tagout and machine safety requirements are implemented.
