Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee the distribution infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of building systems and equipment. You will drive safety, continuous improvement, and technical reliability across the facility.

The role requires leadership of maintenance and custodial teams, hands-on troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional departments to support plant-wide projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or facility management.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily maintenance and custodial activities to maintain high service levels.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for rapid repairs.
• Champion a proactive safety culture in line with OSHA regulations and emergency protocols.
• Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on motors, switchgears, and HVAC units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility-wide projects and improvements.
• Oversee personnel management, including coaching, performance reviews, and scheduling.
• Participate in budgeting for capital expenditures and operating expenses.
