Job summary

Timken Lovejoy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facilities and maintenance across our Downers Grove, IL and South Haven, MI plants. The role covers preventive/predictive maintenance, equipment reliability, and budget management.

You will manage a diverse team, coordinate with contractors, and drive safety and efficiency improvements while ensuring compliance with standards and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance technology or electromechanical.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical, mechanical and welding; 5+ years preferred.
• Supervisor experience required.
• Must be able to travel regularly between facilities.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and maintenance team across two plants.
• Oversee day-to-day responsive maintenance to optimize production.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead safety culture and hazard controls.
• Guide maintenance systems, data and KPI reporting.
• Support capital planning, project management and progress reporting.
• Coordinate outside contractors and manage spare parts inventories.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
