Job summary

Western States Metal Roofing in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our metal manufacturing facility. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure safe and efficient equipment uptime, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, supervision of technicians, coordination with vendors, and budgeting. A strong background in manufacturing maintenance and CMMS is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with roll formers, shears, coil lines, forklifts, and other production machinery.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems (CMMS) and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train maintenance personnel in daily tasks and safety procedures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and structural components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Prioritize maintenance work to minimize production interruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and inventory of parts and tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
• Manage maintenance budgets, purchase orders, and supply needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs or facility issues.
