Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Indianapolis to oversee daily maintenance, manage work orders, and supervise a team ensuring HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems operate reliably.

You will coordinate with the Director to scope small improvements, source qualified contractors, and manage budgets while ensuring facilities meet safety and aesthetic standards for guests and tenants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Broad knowledge of building construction, maintenance and systems.
• Experience with life safety, NFPA, ADA, NEC and building codes.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and independence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with tenants, contractors and HDG Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily maintenance operations and specific projects.
• Plans, organizes, leads and controls day-to-day work of projects.
• Monitors building mechanical and electrical systems and manages work orders.
• Directs 24/7 on-call rotation for tenant needs and emergencies.
• Develops scopes of work and coordinates with contractors for small improvements.
• Ensures facilities are aesthetically pleasing and compliant with safety standards.
• Helps manage budgets and reviews capital/operational expenses with the Director.
• Maintains lighting, HVAC, plumbing and fire/life safety systems.
