Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Facilities Technician I to maintain assigned properties, keep spaces safe and aesthetically pleasing, and respond promptly to maintenance requests. You will perform routine checks of lighting, fire safety equipment, and general upkeep, while supporting otherMaintenance Technicians and ensuring guest areas stay welcoming and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge in building and grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and management.
• Degree from a two- or four-year college or university preferred.
• Yardi or equivalent software experience preferred.
• U.S. Work Authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Full focus on aesthetics of a property or group of properties.
• Grounds/parking lot clean up.
• Verifies all lighting systems are operating properly.
• Attention to detail on entrances of tenant suites/spaces.
• Perform routine checks/sign offs of fire extinguishers and exit/emergency lights within the property(s).
• Snow/ice removal as necessary.
• Identifying any potential safety hazards on a property or group of properties.
• Maintaining landscapes/hardscapes within the property(s).
• Support for other Maintenance Technicians when necessary.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop/working areas.
• Driving is an essential function.
