Job summary

EMC Precision in Sheridan, Indiana seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance division, ensure reliability of production equipment, and lead a team of technicians. You will develop maintenance strategies, manage contractor relations, and drive continuous improvement across building systems and assets.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong leadership, and expertise in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in maintenance in manufacturing
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Ability to read schematics and manuals

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities to support safety, production and facility goals.
• Provide hands-on support during complex equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
• Oversee maintenance inventory, documentation and purchasing.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for repairs and projects.
• Identify facility, equipment and capital improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
