Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production and quality goals by ensuring safe, reliable operation of machinery. The role involves preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and process systems, plus building upkeep and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in industrial maintenance, familiar with reading diagrams and using OEM manuals, and capable of documenting work in maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, gearboxes).
• Perform basic building maintenance throughout the site.
• Troubleshoot and repair using diagrams, OEM manuals and specs.
• Document job activities and observations; update maintenance history.
