Job summary

Elkhart seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, ensuring safe operation of production equipment, facilities, and grounds. You will drive preventive maintenance and provide timely project support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate resources, and manage schedules to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets while maintaining 5S and strong supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 years in industrial maintenance within manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership and project-drive to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Supervise maintenance repairs and ensure timely work with available supplies.
• Resource identification and project task management.
• Manage schedules to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Interface with operations and manage project status.
