Job summary

Arlon EMD is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, drive reliability, and safeguard production. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective activities, coach technicians, and partner with Engineering to optimize equipment uptime.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in manufacturing maintenance with 1–3 years in a supervisory role and a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/team-lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and troubleshooting skills.
• Safety and continuous-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Partner with Production & Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Support equipment installations, capital projects, and facility upgrades.
• Manage maintenance documentation, CMMS records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Promote a strong safety and continuous‑improvement culture.
• Identify issues before they become downtime and implement solutions.
